Wzatco HD projector

Today, I have brought for you the review of Wzatco HD projector, which is a pretty good projector in its category. Despite having an HD resolution its performance is very good. It comes with high-end features and supports 4k videos too.

People who were interested in buying the grey projector screen which I had shown in my BenQ projector's blog, I would like to inform them that that screen was from Bang good  and right now, no product is being shipped from there, so you need to wait till everything normalizes. This Wzatco projector comes in two variants, one Android and the other is the basic version.  The purchase links of both these projectors are there in the description box, from where you can purchase them. So now, let's start with the unboxing of this projector This Wzatco projector comes packed in this cardboard box,  Inside the box, there is a beautiful bag in which the projector is securely placed.

The bag has soft cushioning on its inside and Wzatco is mentioned on the outer side. If you will be carrying this projector while travelling, this bag will definitely keep it safe. This side, there is a remote, an AV cable, a rubberized handle, two screws to fix it, a power cord, a warranty card and this HDMI cable. This is Wzatco M6 Pro projector, which is fully dustproof and has been beautifully designed.  It will not be wrong to say that it is one of the best-designed projectors, which I have reviewed till date. As it is a light-weight projector, you can carry it anywhere with you after storing it in this bag. This projector gets a vertical designing.

The lens has been fitted on the upper part, alongside which is written LED HD Smart projector.  On the right hand side, Wzatco branding is given. On the upper surface, just above the lens, is the focus wheel and a little beyond that are all physical buttons. Full attention has also been paid towards ventilation on this projector. On the rear of this projector, are 2 USB ports, 2 HDMI ports, one AV port, a power port, headphone jack and this power button. Now, let me apprise you of the features of this projector. This projector comes with dual band Wi-Fi & Bluetooth 5.0. Apart from this, you get an official Android 9.0 OS.  Despite having a native resolution of 720p, it supports 4k videos at 60 fps.

It comes with H.265 decoding.  The processor fitted on this projector is Cortex A55 Quadcore, whose clocking speed goes up to 2 GHz. Because of this, its processing speed is pretty fast. This projector comes with Dolby, DTS and AC3 support. It has 2 GB DDR3 RAM and 32 GB eMMC storage. It comes with an electronically controlled 4D vertical and horizontal Keystone correction.  You also get a Zoom out feature on it, which goes from 100% to 70%. According to the company, its brightness is 3300 Lumens  and the contrast ratio is 4000:1.  If we go by the company, this projector comes with an 8-digit IPS LCD panel  that Apple uses in its phones  and which grants it the ability to give a 95% coverage of the NTSC color gamut with 85% uniformity, thus fulfilling the standards of DLP projectors. Surprisingly, this projector comes with multiple high-end features, which I have not seen in any HD projector till now. Now, let's talk about its real performance. I will show its performance on both Grey and White screens. Right now, you are seeing its performance on a 112 inches Grey Antilight screen that I got from Banggood.

On this screen, its performance looks the best. The colour reproduction of this projector is superb, which is mostly seen only on high-end FHD projectors.  The colours appear vivid and punchy and images are realistic. Generally, when you go near a screen image projected through an HD projector, the images appear pixelated, but, the images of this HD projector hardly look pixelated even if you go near the screen.  The pictures are sharp and clear and the detail clarity is also pretty good, which brings its performance closer to that of a Cinema Hall. Going by the specifications, through this projector you can achieve a screen size of up to 150 inches,

but, its best performance is seen at around 100 inches only. Now, let me show you its performance on a white screen. If you will go above 100 inches on a White screen, the brightness will diminish, and, its performance will not look as good as that on a Grey screen. If you intend to project it on a white screen it is advisable to keep the screen size up to 80-inch,  then its brightness will look better. On a Grey screen, the performance of this projector is pretty impressive.  and the images are really sharp.  The colours of this projector are realistic and the Blacks, too, are deep. If you are projecting it on a Grey screen, then its performance will look good even in a dimly lighted room.  In this Mini Theatre of mine, I have left the light on the opposite side of the screen, switched on,

so that the hall, too, is visible. If you will use it in a dark room, you will get the best performance. Coming to its audio, the Dolby and DTS support on this projector, makes its sound one of the best amongst projectors. Even in a big-sized room, you can hear its sound loud and clear. You can easily differentiate the sound of various instruments playing in the scene. But as I always say, to get a Cinema-Hall-like experience, you will definitely need a home theatre with any projector. I am reviewing the Android variant, which costs Rs 18,990, but there is another basic variant that costs only Rs 11,490. The picture performance of that projector is exactly like this oneSo

if your budget is less, you can always go for the basic variant. Generally, Android projectors come with outdated Android OS, but, on this projector you get official Android 9.0. And, on this projector, you can play almost all applications. It also comes with Google PlayStore.  Dual-band Wi-Fi, present on this projector, is hardly seen on any budget projector.  You can connect this projector, wirelessly, to any Bluetooth enabled soundbar  and this projector supports screen mirroring on both Android and iPhone. 4k videos play smoothly through this projector. The remote is pretty responsive. Through the setting option, you can electronically carry out the keystone correction.

On this projector, you get all these options for settings. An electronically controlled keystone correction option is a rare find in any budget HD projector. Now, coming to its cons; On this projector, you do not get the option of manually tweaking the picture and audio settings. There are only preset modes.  Though its performance on a Grey screen is pretty good,  I did find its brightness a tad lower on a white screen. But here, I would like to tell you that all budget projectors come with not very good brightness. For high bright projectors, you need to extend your budget and go for a higher brand projector, whose minimum cost would be around Rs 60000.

To sum up this blog, this is a pretty good projector in its category  that comes with high-end features along with good picture and sound quality, if its brightness would have been a tad better, it could be termed as a superb projector in its category. Friends, I will try to test some good grey projector screens that  are available for purchase in India and will suggest accordingly. So meet you in my next blog  till then take care and stay safe.
