so now just letit install and it will take some time to install as it is a big update to windows like oneof the biggest in the past few years, anyways let it install and then reboot. And there you go , now we are on the latestwindows 11 developer preview and whoa this clock surely feels changed it is now centeredinstead of cornered and that feels more natural to me. My device is running on intel i5 9th gen with16 gigs of ram. And here are the geekbench scores that I gotafter this update. Now let's jump to the features one by one 1 Feature that you can instantly see withthis windows 11 is this new start menu and yeah it is now centered which feels more inline with mac os but being honest here I kinda like it as it had its own glassy effects goingon and looks really neat visually The start menu has entirely changed too andfeels less cluttered now and the animated tiles are also gone now.

The search bar also feels faster because dearcortana is gone from here finally and in windows 10 i hated it when start did not respond instantlyand i have no complaints with this one, well done microsoft. Next up the notification shade has also changeddrastically and looks very minimal now with each tile spaced well from each other andagain this is a welcome change as i found the older notification panel to be a messmost of the time and something similar has happened with calendar , it now looks a bitpolished and gives a better user experience. Also there are new animations almost everywherefrom opening, closing of apps to the jumping of icons on the taskbar and what not whichlooks really good and fluid. The next big feature i like is memory dockingand multitasking improvements , so first up whenever you hover over the maximise iconit gives you 4 options to resize your windows and this is game changing feature that enablesseamless multitasking between the apps and for someone like me who switches over againand again between apps well this is amazing as it enables using all the apps

i want inone single screen and you can make the most of your time just with this nifty feature,also this multitasking help doesnt end here , remember the last time when you had to disconnectthat secondary display and all of your apps came to the primary display and looked likea mess Well say no more and now we have this memorydocking ability that keeps in mind how and which apps you had on your second screen andwhenever you plugin your display back it will show all the apps arranged in the similarway you had before . And this is a neat feature that i dont knowwhy was not there on windows before as it is going to be really helpful in many scenarios,kudos to ms for this . NExt up we have the new microsoft store thathas been completely redesigned and you can see how neat it looks and scales from smallto a bigger display and so on, the apps and everything are also neatly arranged now andi like this neat hover effect thingy, the ui redesign is in line with the whole systemtheme and looks quite useful now as you can easily find your apps and games on the gowith this one, And yeah this build does not have androidapps support just in case you were wondering hopefully that should come later this year.

After that we have the all new widget menuthat hosts all your todos news feed, reminders , weather info and a lot more so they areall arranged in this glass like sheet which looks coolAfter this we have the all new settings that are totally redesigned now and most of thedata is now in card list format which not only looks and feels better but is more convenienttoo.. The ui overhaul looks good and is pretty functionalto be frank and my initial impressions with it are quite positive. Inside this settings menu we have a coupleof important things, first one if theme support, so now e have 6 different theme to suit yourmood ad they are well chefs kiss amazing , the colors used and the way they are designedlook aesthetically pleasing and this doesn't end here you can download hundreds of themesfrom app store or even make your own which is awesome and this is really good for thosewho like to customise their pc , again an amazing feature that you should surely try.

Though there are some slowdowns and otherissues with theme engine and it messes u sometimes After that we have the gaming mode and hereyou can manage which graphics card the games and apps should use and you can also manageyour recordings and screenshots from games so that is going to be helpful for you gamersout there. NExt up we also have auto hdr support withthis version of windows and if your display supports windows can now play your videosautaomatical;ly in hdr and that should sum up to a better media experience. Lastly we have new ui redesign in most otherplaces for example, we have new icons in my computer and all windows have these roundedcards that looks more clean visually. The refresh icon is now hidden to show moreproperties and you can now switch over to vertical tabs in ms edge which is good too. So these are some of the great features thati found so far in my short time with it and it looks like this is going to be an interestingupdate for users as it carries over a major ui redesign something that users will definitelylike and my early impressions are really positive with this new windows 11.
