project modules
Signing into Nifty, this is the first viewthat you are presented for, this is a list of your tasks that you are assigned to whereit is ordered after the due date out here. You can see we have due today overdue andif there was someone in the future. Down here to the right, we have our team chatwhere I can chat with my team if I had added more assignees and it's like we've seen itfrom Facebook, for instance, whereas when I click on a colleague, then it opens up anew window where it is that I can chat. It functions very well. It's very simple, but it works. That's just great. Now, if you go back to my tasks here, thenlet's try and take a look at the task view. The task view here has a lot of informationand it's really packed in. The overall design of Nifty is functionalityabove design. I'm not saying the design is bad, I'm justsaying that it's really packed in and there's not really much white space around this. It could help to create focus on the differentelements, to create some spacing between the elements. But the elements are there, but the task hasthe elements that you need. We can assign multiple people to a task. We can set a due date. We can add tags so it's easier in the searchfunctionality to find the task. We can add it to a milestone. We can set dependency reminder. We can set it as a recurring, so let's saythat you send out a newsletter each week. You can create a recurring task. Where it is that it comes up each week. Then you need to send out this newsletter, you can set a start date. If it is that you need to start on this taskon a certain day and then you can set story points. You can also show less actions. If it is,

you feel that is to clamed together. Now, if we move down here, we have a littlemenu here with subtasks files and documents and custom fields for each subtask we canalso assign, which is great because then you can split a big task into minor tasks if thereare multiple assignees. Furthermore, for each subtasks, we can aska due date right here, and we can even comment on the subtask such as. This is great, the functionality here is great, and we have everything we need. It's easy to add new subtasks and overalljust works great. Then we have files and documents and customfields down here. So I feel this menu here is a little bit uselessright now. Maybe it's a bug they have right now. Now, furthermore, up here, we can track ourtime. Let's say that I will start now working onthis notification preferences, then I can start tracking my time. So it is that we can see how much time I'vespent on this specific task. Furthermore, we have the possibility to unsubscribefrom task notifications, hide task from a specific person. Copy the task URL if we want to share it andarchive it. And the different elements we usually see. Of course, we can also show the activity whereit is we can see the different things that we have done right now is not showing anything, even though I have done things to the tasks. But maybe it's because it's not updating inreal time. And as you can see, we started the timer here. It's also running down here. So even though I closed down this task, thenI can still find a timer down here and get into the task very fast. This is great. As you can see down here, we have the notificationpreferences, which is the task I'm working on now. And the due date is two twenty-three, whichaligns with what it says right here. Furthermore, I have a lot of filter options, but this view is just great because it shows me isolated from everything within Nifty whatit is I need to work on if I have anything overdue or if there's just something I needto focus on ASAP. Furthermore, up here I have files where itsshowing the files relevant for me, I have the time which is showing my tracker rightnow. So basically this is just a log of all mytracked tasks. If I want to have the big overview of theentire projects in Nifty, then we have the all tasks out here, where it is, the viewis basically the same. However, it's just showing now some more differentsorting possibilities we have due this month and unscheduled. So these tasks down here, maybe I should schedulethem, assign them, set a deadline and so on. But the view is basically the same, and wecan filter up here on assignees.

If I basically choose myself, then I havethe same view as I had in my tasks. And if I want to filter on different projects,I can go up here and choose what projects I want. Right now I only have my demo project, butif I had multiple projects, it was here that I could filter away other projects that Ididn't find relevant. Furthermore then we have a calendar view. Where it is that we can see the differenttasks that I should have worked on and that I'm working on now and what will come in thefuture. This is great to get a good overview fastand if a task is going on multiple days, it would also show here and it's great to justget an idea of what's going to happen in the future. It is a calendar view, as we all know. So we have the month view, the week view andthe day view of course. So the day view is, as we saw it just before, where we have the notification preferences task down here. Again, which is a general thing for all thedifferent views, is that we can always filter by assignee, due date milestones and tagsand of course we can search within the tasks. This is the team calendar. Then we also have my calendar where it onlyshows my tasks, but I can achieve the same by just choosing assignee and choosing myself, then it showing the same view. Now, if we move on to Workloads, this is greatto see whether we can take on new projects, or we maybe should postpone some projectsthat are coming in. This is just great to get the big overviewof the entire organisation within Nifty of what projects we're working on at the momentand how long they're set to last. As you can see right now, I only have oneproject where we can see it here it last until today. Then it should be done and I can click onit. And right now is basically just a task. So it's one project with a task that I needto finish. So in this case, I would be able to take onmore projects, but this view is great, it works well and I can easily scroll from sideto side and the different projects would show down here, we can then show active and completedprojects, where it shows the projects here that we have completed, which I can easilyfind. Again, this is just tasks again, but thisview really works great and the design here is great. Now, if we move on to the overview, we seemore or less the same as workloads. Workloads it showed us the different tasksand Overview is showing our demo project where it's showing a progress bar on how much we'refinished compared to the tasks left. And if we click on this demo project, we cansee the different milestones down here where it is that each milestone has tasks within. And this is great. This is not something you see often, for instance,in Monday.com or in Asana this is not something there is a huge focus. So this is just great to see. Here we can see that we're maybe falling abit behind, and we need to actually finish this milestone today and then get startedon this one. We should have get started on this one yesterday. So this is a great way to get a fast overviewof your project. So it's a great idea to use these milestonesas it will help you in the long run. Now, let's just say that I'm done with mytask. Then I'll go to my track down here and I willpress this button. I have now stopped the task. However, even though I have stopped the task,it did not finish the task. This is both good and bad because imaginethat I just need a break from the task. I'm not done. Then it's good that it's not marking it ascomplete. But if I was done and would be created, itjust completed the task for me automatically. This is maybe a setting that you should beable to set within the different projects or the different tasks. What would be cool is that now we have thepossibility to assign subtasks to different people. It could be cool if we could track on thesubtask as well. So we don't only track on the overview task, but we could also track on the subtask in order to find out what subtask has taken themost time. So in the future we would know, OK, we havea similar task or project. We need to assign this amount of time nowas we know it from Slack, just to move back a little bit to chat functionality. Then we have all the direct messages out hereand I can basically pick up where I left off and write here again. And it works very great. I'm very surprised to see this chat. However, I still think that Slack is a betterchat for this opportunity. So now they're working on integrations. It would be cool to see an integration toSlack so all the direct communications kept within the same channels. But as you can see, it's very simple and thisis basically Nifty. Of course, we have more features over herewhere we have our profile settings, we have our notification settings and the app center. In the app center we can integrate to GitHub,Google Auth, Google Calendar, Zoom, Slack, which is cool. And then of course, via Zapier we can integrateto a ton of different tools. Furthermore, if I click down here in my workspace,I have general settings here where it is I can set of logo, team name, a team URL. I can do workspaces here where it is thatI can invite people to join my project. And then there is add-ons here where it istime tracking and reporting workloads overview, all these are added, and then we have thebilling functionality here. In our projects down here we also have settings, again a logo as we just saw it, a email forwarding. If there is something we want to create fast,we can forward an email to this email and it will be created within our project. And then we have some different settings downhere that we can also set. Here we can set, for instance, the defaulttask view when we go to the project right now, it shows the list view. If we want to swim lane view instead or thekanban view, we can change it here. And then in the end, I can see the projectmembers also. We can, of course, also go to the projectsettings by clicking the three dots here and then open up the project settings. And as you can see, the view has changed abit. And if I go to tasks, then you can see thatwe now have the kanban views and this is working great and I can easily move tasks from todo to in progress and always keep it updated. If I want to I can also change the view uphere to swim lane view, for instance, or a calendar view. This is very easy and it works fast and it'svery seamless. Up here we have the notifications, of course, and then we have our search. Here we also have some quick actions. If you want to fast create a task, a milestoneor a document maybe. And they do have a shortcut for the spotlightsearch, which is inspired from MacOS, I would say. But let's say that we have to find our task, which was called notification preferences. So let's see how this goes. It went fine, however, when I searched, itsearched within the project discussions. So my first impression was that it couldn'tfind a task. However, it was just because I needed to clickon tasks. It would be cool if they just listed all theelements down there and if there was something it couldn't find, then maybe just hide it,because it doesn't make sense to show all of these different menu points if there'sjust nothing to show. What's relevant for me in this situation isa find a task and it should be smart enough to. Show me that task straight up instead of mehaving to look for it in the task situation. But the design of this search bar and thissearch functionality I'm a big fan of. So, yeah, that's the functionality withinnifty as you can see, it's very simple and to the point. But I think with the features coming up, whichI will talk about in a minute, it will be very interesting. When I signed up, then I could choose whetherI wanted to import data from another project management tool or not. It would be cool here that when I create aproject that I had the possibility to do it for each project instead of only having thepossibility when it is that I signed up. This is just a small thing, but it's somethingthat would really help in order to create the project fast or at least move the datafrom one tool to another. But yeah, that's the functionality withinNifty.
Now let's move on to pricing.
If we take a look at the pricing structureof Nifty, it is quite simple, you can get started completely free and you can test outtheir different features and their different tools. And if you do find it useful, then you canupgrade to one of the four paid plans. What's cool about Nifty's pricing structureis that it's not per extra user that you pay extra.
comptitors
For each of these four plans you get a certainamount of users that you can invite to your workspace. The competitors to Nifty, as I see it, isAsana and Monday.com. This is all project management tools thatI have used and I find them similar to Nifty. However, Nifty is falling a bit behind onthe design part and the whole user experience using Nifty. Whereas for instance, in Monday.com it's soeasy setting up projects and different elements within Monday.com, whereas Nifty it does taketime and you do have to look for the elements sometimes. This is definitely an element that I hopethat Nifty will improve in the future.
The future of Nifty
, if we don't take a lookat all the optimisations are integrations and it is more languages. So integrations will just help us work fasterand better and more streamlined as we don't have to manually go between these differenttools. We can integrate everything, so we can workwithin Nifty without having to go to the different tools. And as mentioned, they are adding three newlanguages Italian, Russian and Chinese. The biggest thing they're working on at themoment is a huge budget module. This will help you stick to your budget whenit is that you plan out a project and everything again is gathered within Nifty. I'm very excited to see how this budget modulewill turn out and it's going to be interesting to test it out.
outro
So, yeah, that's my review of Nifty, a greatproject management tool with all the features that you need and with the budget module comingup, it's going to be very interesting to see how it will turn out. I hope that you liked the video and if youdid, please give it a thumbs up.
